i know i read something about this before, and i did a search and couldnt find it. maybe it wasnt on this forum. but anyway...
im about halfway through my swap and was wondering...could the mr2 ecu be used to run the engine, and the celica ecu be used to run the rest of the car? (dash, A/C, etc.) it seems this would save a lot of time on rewiring the harness and what not. would it work? |

To elaborate, the only way your dash knows anything, is by "communicating" with your ecu, if you seperate the 2, the car wouldnt work the dash wouldnt work.
