I didn't do another coat of red but I did clear coat them and tinted the *inside* of the amber housing.

Do they blink red now?

what method did u use to get at the inside of the housing?

they blink red. I was also thinking about putting those red bulb covers on them too. Tinting the inside was easier but a bit trickier than you think. I just sprayed into the back of amber lense from where the bulb plugs into. I sprayed a little and then turned the lense so the tint would drip or run and cover the inside completely. One side is slightly darker than the other, no one could really tell by looking at it but I can.
