I've been looking at Speedhut for a while now, I definitely am willing to spend the extra money to get the colors I want, I just can't figure out what. Does anyone have them installed, have pictures, or can describe how they look? Which look better, Dial Face or Font glow?
Right now I'm thinking about going with font glow, midnight background with white font, yellow redline (heh). I really don't know though. Ideas? |

I bought a set of indiglo gauges (white faced during the day and blue to green at night) off ebay for not too much money. The only problem with them is that they didn't come with the pins for the speedo and tach needles to rest on when the car is off. Also, when I installed them I had to pull the needles off, so it was a little hard to get them back to where they originally were. Now my speedo is about 10 mph off at most speeds, but I can still tell how fast I'm going based on my tach.
To get the gauge pod out the dash, there are about 3 or 4 sets of screws that you have to take out, but its not too hard, just a little tedious. However, I really like the look you get both at night and in the day. |

What I'm really debating is if I want font glow or reverse glow, I think reverse glow might be obnoxiously bright which is why I'd like to see a picture on a Celica of it--

never ever take your needles off when installing indiglo gauges. our needles are self calibrating so if you take the needles off the calibration will be screwed up permanently.
as for the look of reverse indiglos, I am really satisfied with mine. I got them off a group buy on celica.net and they are just what I had in mind. they have the halo thing in the middle and blue/green/light/dark adjustment. |
