YEP
Curretly workin on a 5sfte project on it.. and figured intercooler has always been the most time consumming part of turbo installs I've helped with... sooo.. get that outta the way.. hopefully it will all be done by the October 2nd midwest meet I used the SRT4 intercooler.. was pretty much a perfect fit with only minimual cutting and little relocation of parts... plus still got the fogs <---- happy about that -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |

they run straight back.. basially a 90 degree angle from the core.. I had to cut away some of the sheet metal on the sides of the radiator.. not the radiator itself but next to it... the passanger side (cold side is a staight pipe thats appox 2.5 outlet) the hot side (driver) I will have to relocate the freon tank over 2 inches.. the inlet is oval shaped but with a coupler it seals nice... it angles sligtly upwards and plan on running the piping under the battery tray thing (not sure of the name for it) Im gonna run some of the piping this weekend and relocate the freon tank so I will post some pics of all that stuff when I get it done.
not at all.. I did have some problems mounting it to the support bar.. tried welding it but my welder sucks and couldn't get enuf penatration threw the powdercoating on the support beam, and was too lazy to sand it all down.. also tried to make some brakets for it but didnt think they would of held up in the long run.. right now I have it temp mounted with that JB weld stick stuff.. which is working for now but gonna have to figure something else out when I get a little further along. edit: here are pics of the holes I had to cut.. there not very clean cuts right now cuz I was in a hurry and I was having problems with my dremel.. the cut off wheel that I have the little screw is worn down so the discs keep spinning and breaking on me so I just quicked it.. im gonna clean it up this weekend this is the driver side.. this is the only relocation I think I need to do.. will find out later if theres more but should be able to work around nething else, might just end up removing the A/C unit completely this is the pass side.. straight shot threw This post has been edited by NEVERSTOP: Sep 2, 2004 - 12:45 PM -------------------- 99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =) |
