I need some advice. I found a 92 All-Trac with nice rims, very clean, and only 87k miles. It is for 3500 but the guy said he'd trade straight up for my car...what ya think? Should I do it? The all-trac runs mint, idles nice, handles great, and takes off like a demon besides I'm in love with AWD Turbos. My celi now is a 95 GT with a little over 127k miles. I'm guessing he'd sell mine for more but at the moment I don't have the cash (Rex payment and insurance) so I'd either have to sell my car or trade to him. I could get more than 3500 i think for mine but it might take sometime to get a buyer and by then the all-trac may be sold. Help please I need advice.

an all-trac celica is very very rare nowadays. I would definitely trade my celica for an AWD 3SGTE TURBO!!

He would trade cuz he knows my perdicament that it could be too little too late by the time I actually sell my car his may be gone so by him trading to my car he will get more money in the long run but will take longer for him to get it. He actually just bought a brand new WRX so that was cool and that is why he is selling the all-trac.

Tomorrow he is taking it with me to the local Toyota dealership and I have an "in" there so they are checking it out for free. If everything comes out clean I will visit the bank and see what they say. Maybe I'll even gull the balls to ask my parents for money or something...hell I still live under their roof they should know my car can sell for more than that. Especially around here. I got offered 4600 the other day.

The thing is nice...new clutch new brakes. I will be confused each day...ok which 200+ hp AWD boosted car to drive today? Hmmm...need for the Eclipse anymore? lol

**EDIT**
Anyone want to make an offer on my Clipse?

If you're gonna take a loan, then just use the loan money and do a motor swap. Forget 5th gen.

Even with a swap he will still never get AWD. I would take out a loan and then sell your car.

The alltrac is still more reliable and he gets AWD AND he can do easy mods to make it J-spec. Aside from the ceramic turbo, swap to a JDM ecu and block of the EGR, boom JDM.

As long as it check out ok i'd trade, its a friggin 3sgte for heavens sake.

K going now to get it checked out. Carfax was good.

EDIT
I also asked my parents, they have money from a Home Improvement loan they would be willing to borrow me until I sold my car. I think I may sell my Eclipse as well and maybe finish paying the REX off with money to spare.
