I was at the teamcelica.com meet this weekend in cincinnati and i was talking to this guy who makes ground wire kits for 7th gens, wrx's etc. He said he's never had the chance to get a hold of a 6th gen and he wants to make a kit on mine. I wanna get a feeler who would want one. It would probably be around 30 bucks. here is a little more info on the kit...

Tuned Innovations (A development department of Team Celica) presents to you
a ground wire kit for the 2000-2004 Celica GT or GT-S(in our case 6th gen gt or st). If you have added after-
market parts to your Celica, be it power mods, lighting, neons, and most of all
stereo equipment, then you are in dire need of upgrading your ground wires in
your engine bay. Ground wire kits have been shown to free up horsepower, smooth
out your idle, increase sound clarity at high levels with your stereo system and
ease the load on your entire electrical system. This is a must for tuners. Your
factory groundwires consist of 12 gauge wires, which take on a large load when you
add a 10+ gauge power wire to run aftermarket amps, or subs..etc. Remember, a chain
is only as strong as its weakest link. We here at Tuned Innovations are providing
you with a high quality ground wire kit at costs far below the major groundwire kit manu-
facturers. We use only high grade 4 gauge Copper wires and
end terminals. Custom fitted to provide the shortest ground
points and minimize the ground flow distance.

im pretty sure all the grounds are the same as in the St and the GT. so anyone who is interested let me know. i should have this kit soon.

They'd actually be incredibly easy to make yourself...just grab some four gauge audio cable and crimp-on end terminals for them and make them. wink.gif

,,,If you do make them yourself, be sure to solder the ends on, you just cant get a decent, reliable connection on a hand crimp, especially on the heavier wire, using 4GA with a crimped on end would be a waste of time.

i'd buy one pre-made...just for ease and time saving. if you think about it, 15-20 for parts, plus the time to figure it yourself, to make the shortest best connections, plus the time to make it...etc...i'd rather pay 10 bucks and get a kit ready to go in. smile.gif.
