Well, my friends and I finally installed the CAI that 95celgt made for me. Take a look:

Here is the main tubing. We had to kind of "soft mount" the fuse box there with a zip tie but I will be making a custom bracket to relocate it to where it should be.

Here is a picture of where the main pipe joins with the pipe that goes into the fender.

A close up of where the "down" pipe goes into the fender.

Looks good. Do you notice any gains with it? smile.gif

I plan to place my filter in the same location so it gets air directly from my new vent, but my piping goes in front of the driver's side tranny mount and behind the battery tray along the frame to get there, rather than through the hole near the fuse box.

Talk to 95celgt. He designed it so that I would have to use the hole where the stock airbox was located. I just had to widen the hole for the pipe to go in. There was some custom fitting, such as cutting the piping so we could get the angle we wanted but everything turned out great.

Thanks! There seems to be a bit more low end torque. I can tell you it made a big difference in my acceleration, and it sounds AWESOME! It has a nice deep roar to it and its only loud when I am on the accelerator really hard.

Theres no need for designing.. Get a 92-95 cai, Thats what I did, Thats the only route it will take, thats why I located it through there .. 95-took the same design, but made it cut better, but it looks to fit the same as mine.. and mine only cost 28 bucks or so including everything. But beware it wil shake an rattle over any bumps, thats the only down fall, but it sounds so nice..

Actually this one doesn't rattle at all. I haven't heard it shaking or anything and the filter and everything stays together just fine.
