Hi. I have heard that the VW golf 4 + 5 alloy wheels have both the same stud pattern (5x100 Pcd) and offset as the celica, but the centre bores are slightly different (I think that the golf has a centre bore 3mm bigger). Would it be advisable to use them without some sort of centre bore adapter?
And before any 1 posts 'Just buy some decent aftermarket ones cheapskate!!' I have a friend who is just going to throw them out if I dont want them.
Many thanks in advance,
BroccoBudapest

yup, assuming they are the same stud pattern/offset just throw some hubcentric rings on there and you should be all set.

i say : get them, sell them on vwvortex, then buy some celica wheels.

i can't think of ANY dub wheels that would look good on a 6gc. maybe the jetta wolfsburg wheels...but, that's still cutting it close.

last time i checked dub wheels have a big VW sign in the middle and they are ass with out any emblems in the hole. so uhh you would look like a complete moron with them.

the only company combo that works is a GTI around my house that has Porche wheels. considering a porche is a hooked up beetle they are one in the same.

VW owns Porsche, and Audi.

VW also owns buggati, bentley and has co-ownership w/ lamborghini.

there are certain VW wheels that would look good, considering some are licensed by OZ, BBS, and speedline.

it's just not the usual stock dub wheels.
