I'll post picts later.. for now.. know that my entire passenger door is scratched from the start of it to the end of it- looks like a nice, clean, bumper scratch- I'm in assigned parking here at the apartment (where I discovered it) so I'm having the manager ask the people next to me if they did it (then I'm taking picts of any damage to their car- hopefully they won't get a chance to wash it.)

But then, it's FFA at school; where it MIGHT have happ, because I didn't check the side of my car that one time (if it happ there, the people who did it would have been long gone)

worse STILL, I could have done this MYSELF- I was in a tricky parking situation last night and I might have rubbed up against a pole... I checked the pole- it of course has damage all up and down it- around 23 inches there's some flecks of red (dull red tho..)- and the damage is around 23 inches on my car. The pole is painted brown, and there's no brown on my car however. God, if I did this myself.........

took lots of picts, will post later.

That sucks! frown.gif

Hopefully it's the people who park next to you and you can get them to pay for the damages.

Yeah, I'd feel like a total dumbass if I got the leasing office to hound them, and it turned out I rubbed up against that pole.

You can't see all the small stuff; including the rectangular (bumper?) outline

Little auto body trick that might help with some of the smaller scratches: Rub your fingernail across the smaller scratches (perpendicular). If you can't hear a sound when your nail goes over the scratch you can buff it out with a buffer and some glaze. If you hear something.... it's too deep to buff out.

That sucks though dude... obviously most of those scratches aren't gonna buff out but try that. It'll make it look a little better.

Not really man. 2 1/2 hrs worth of work and paint. Maybe demographically labor is more expensive where YOU live.

97, your crazy; maybe it's just cus you can't see all the small ones- or how deep the scratches are; but it's at least 600
