well, i havent started anything yet and i would need to talk to DG to see if he wants to help me with it, since he played a major role in my harness being done.
i just finished talking to a member of this site that figured out the super easy way to do the wiring. ill try to talk him into doing a writeup. This post has been edited by lagos: Sep 15, 2004 - 10:45 PM -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

it looks so confusing... I'm glad I am having someone do this for me. I know I'd screw it up. Do you know anyone who'd be willing to do a wiring harness for me when that time comes?

Did anybody see anything?? I couldve sworn that I read something about a super-easy way of wiring....nah, I must be dreaming or something...
I think that would be great to get some kind of swap wiring write-up on here....A great How-To would really be beneficial to many, and is what this site is all about- Learning, and Contributing. -------------------- 3rd gen ST205 3SGTE - Alive and boosting. |

Lets just say "super easy" doesn't even describe it.
Pictures look awsome Lagos... I'll try and get some of mine up asap. Your car is just plain bad ass dude... GT4 style... now when people look at that car and think "its only a slow celica that is made to look fast" they will feel stupid when they see that GT-2 smoke anything that tries to keep up! Oh it doesnt, does it?.... So when might I be priveledged enough to find out how easy it really was, and make my poor old Celica into the beast it yearns to be? I'm so desperate to know whats the best method of wiring that its not even funny....If not for wiring, I could work with my cousins who are both mechanics and make this dream of mine a reality, instead of going through a performance shop that would charge $3000 in labor alone. I want booooooostttt.... EDIT- BTW great stage by stage pictures of the swap, Lagos. Great pictures, and awesome car. How long did the swap take you from when the engine arrived to when you were done?
