I am in the process of getting a set of ground control coilovers. The guy says that they were on his car for less than a year. He says that he assures that they are in fine condition and they come with everything brand new but the actual springs. What do you think? Will it be ok with my stock struts?

John(Mynzeyes) has Ground Controls and he had them on his stock struts for a long time, and he is just now needing new struts apparently. He can tell you more about it, but I think that you'd probably be fine.

$150 shipped sounds great and from what i've heard also coilovers last quite a long time with your stock shocks and struts.
good luck. |

$150 sounds like a steal to me. Even if they end up being crappy you can just buy new springs for them.

well, I wouldn't say overrated. The springs are good, but they are over priced. While TRD was still making them, they only cost about 150. (i think) I'm waiting on that guy to get the DZ springs.

I would't pay 230 for a 1" drop. If it were 1.5, i would. Not just an inch though. Far too stockish.

Nothing less than 2" drop for me!
Well i guess the drop really depends on your rim size and what kind of kit you got on your car. |
