okay i'm getting confuse, I think there are alot of variations on the speaker sizes because i used 6.5's and i didn't have to mod anything no rings no brackets nothing i just unscrewed and pryed off old ones and screwed new ones in stock mounting holes. confused.gif

Just use some MDF and make them yourself. smile.gif

You must have power options, right? Because my 6.5" coaxials fit perfectly in my doors with no adapters or anything, but I don't have factory power options. wink.gif

are we talking about the front door speakers? cus if we are then i and a few other celicas here have 8 inch speaker holders with 8 inch speakers in it and thus no spacer plate for the 6 1/2 that i think come with the stock car.

In the case of replacing the 8's with 6.5's you must either buy or make ur own spaker plate. However if u have taken 6.5's out and putting 6.5's back in then you should already have the spacer plate.

if they reduce the 8inch to a 6.5 they should. You should ask the seller
