I know, booooo!

For the past week i've been looking at a particular 2002 Honda S2000 at my Uncles Benz dealer. Its Red in Color, leather interior, sport wheels, 6spd - the works! Its so beautiful, it look so brand new, I fell in love with it. Today I went out and took her for a test drive, and let me tell you, its the most amazing piece of equipment i've driven. Even more so than a Supra TT oddly enough. Her redline is at 9000, push button Engine Start. They are designed for running hard and fast at high RPM's, everything in the dash is digital, from the RPM straight across, to the 6 little light bulbs making up the Gas level. She handles so beautifully and shifts as smooth as a baby's butt. I was very amazed, and it put the cap on me for wanting it. So i've decided to sell the parts I haven't installed on my car yet (Bumper & Mirrors) in the Buying section, please check it out. I'm not leaving for awhile, I still have to quickly pay off the Celica, and I plan to drop it a few inches first as well. But its definitly going to happen in the next 6 months!

I've already sold my intake and whatnot awhile ago. The body kit is for sale in the "Buying/Selling" Forum, so are the mirrors. The Rims are staying for now, I don't know the lug pattern for the S2000 yet, if they are the same, i'm keeping, if not, I will sell.

werd, I think all Honduhs come with 4-lug except for the ITR.

jason, congrats on the S2000 man, thats a phat ride. where are you getting the money from though? I don't think I've seen a S2k for less than 20 large.

You've just been reading SCC havent you!? They have an S2000in there with Vortec SC with 300hp at the wheels.(299 actually, I just like 300 better, after all, it's a honda, why not overestimate?)

Anyway, I love the S2000, and If I wasn't red headed (we fear the sun) i'd get a 2000 one day. Oh well, looks like I'm stuck with the RSX Type R when it come out in a few years...

niiiiice, I've always liked the s2000's. Your celica is still one of the sweetest on here though, surprised to see you sell. You want a faster car or somethin? And you can't really fit subs in a s2000 either can you?

Sad to see that you're selling the Celi, but glad to see that you're getting an amazing car. I've always loved S2000s.

And I think your rims will fit your S2000 if they're 100 and 114.3 mm(ten holes instead of five). The S2000's wheel pattern is 5x114.3 with anywhere from a +38mm to a +45mm offset,

Sadly enough, its final this time. I'm already looking to put a down payment on the car in a few days. frown.gif

Well uhhh.. I dont know how to say this but if I have the car before this coming Winter, its going to be the Winter car too. :\ Seeing as I wont be able to afford anything else, but probably wont see another winter after that.

No idea. But I do know that i'm going to slap a Turbo Kit on it right away. biggrin.gif Even though thats probably as far my modding will go, that and my rims.

Sounds like you haven't thought ahead too well, s2000's are nice cars but are really not meant to be daily drivers, you can barely hold anything in them, cold weather will murder the rag top (hopefully you have a garage though with room to put it in) and if you are barely affording it and its a 2001 would if something needs to be replaced, those arn't cheap cars to work on.

Not to jinx you or anything, but i have a feeling that when winter hits your gonna make a trip back to this board to tell us all about your experience with your s2000 and a telephone poll.

did they fix all the problems they were having with the top and back window?

i like that car but they are very expensive for hondas, just like the preludes used to be(2003 civic si is only $19,000). but atleast this car is rwd how much are you getting it for? if your uncle owns the dealer then you should get it for cost plus like $500.
