The other day I was driving behind a truck and it threw up a pebble, putting a ugly hole in my left low beam headlight, where can i get a new one? And how much does it cost?
Also, one of my stupid friends decided to try to pull an Austin Powers and jump and slide across my hood, well he forgot that he had a chain wallet on, and it put a nice dent and scratch on my hood, and I was wondering if a carbon fiber hood would be cheaper to get than repairing the hood? If you guys and girls could give me any sites or numbers or anything I would really appreciate it, I hate seeing my celi in pain -Chucky -------------------- |

hey man just go to the parts data base and that should help you with the hood. For the headlight i would recomend checking out a salvage yard and seeing if they have any decent replacments.

My car is the same exact color of yours, i saw the one guy with the silver celica and a cf hood and it looked pretty good. As for the headlights, I got this filler stuff so no water gets in the headlight assembly, I dont have the money for jdm headlights right now unfortunatley -------------------- |

I believe John has a set of low-beams he is trying to get rid of. If not you can always get them from a junkyard or taprecycling but whatever you do don't buy them new from Toyota.
As for you hood, it'll probably be cheaper just to go C/F. It looks the best on silver cars IMHO and it should only set you back about ~500 shipped if you look on groupbuycenter. I'm assuming your friend is gonna pay for it right? Stupid prick trying to slide across a celi hood !! |

Thats where I dissagree with you on this. CF only looks good on black or dark colored cars. Bryan |

I agree with you on this, but I think it looks best on black. I saw a black '98 Civic SI dropped 2" with a subtle body kit, 17" OZ Chrono Evolutions, and a carbon fiber hood, and it looked awesome! It was the first time I'd seen carbon fiber on black in person, and it looked excellent. I saw a spa yellow pearl S2000 on CarDomain.com the other day though, and it had a carbon fiber hood, and it was awesome looking too! But my hood is in absolutely perfect condition right now and I couldn't spend $500 on a hood when I could be saving that money for a swap this summer(maybe). -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

Of course CF is gonna look good on black, they are both black so how is it gonna clash? But as far as only on dark colored cars Silver with black looks sweet, as does white with black. |
