Hi, well, this topic has been pretty popular lately; and you're going to find the most information by doing a search for it using the search button.
The search button has been wigging out of late; but give it a try- it might work! Also, If you look on the sticky's under every forum, you'll bound to find an answer to your question. The mods work hard to make sure that nearly every FAQ is covered in a sticky. Finally, while the 3sgte swap is getting more and more common; we know of only 3 (roughly) awd swaps, one of them being reported as unstable; another one being done (and then sold instantly, we don't know whats the scoup on that) and the last one being in Europe (we he could get a GT4 to scavenge parts from anyway) GOod luck, and happy hunting. --Sean |

nice post Shid. When you search, try using a plus sign before your individual search words like this: +3sgte +swap
Hope it helps. - Jay. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

mosy people do go with the all wheel drive for 2 reasons on its a more expensive seup. And 2 AWD is a slower you have less horeses to the wheels. You can match up a 3sgte with a mr2 or i also read the V^ camry tranny will bolt right on also.

The best way to convert a USDM Celica to a JDM AWD Turbo Celica is to...
Step 1. Import a GT-4 Step 2. Take VIN off of USDM Celica Step 3. Super Glue USDM VIN on JDM GT-4 Step 4. Drive around racing everything you see and giving them the finger when they lose Step 5. Repeat steps 1-4 when you finally get arrested. ehe -------------------- |
