i am about to order some kybs from tire rack
and i was wondering, Do I need to remove the stock perches and put them on the new front struts, or do they come with new perches? or do i just use the stock perches?

Second:
any body have the Tein springs and kyb's?
if so how do you like it?
do they both work together?

The fronts you'll use your existing strut housing. KYB only provides the cartridges and you just take out the old ones from your OEM's and then replace with the KYB inserts.

Now for the rears, you'll take out the OEM's and you replace the rears with the KYB's that are complete Strut Housings.

As for the KYB/Tein S-Tech Combo...I have them and there's no complaints here. Rides great. And if I haven't replaced my OEM shocks when I had 100K on my car the ride wouldn't be as smooth as it is now with the KYBs.

The KYB's are pretty much like OEM's. Just new.

Here's the OEM Strut Housing and what you'll have to do to get that insert out.

We ended up having to take the fronts to a friends shop bcus the OEM insert was sealed in the housing and we couldn't get it out. Our friend ended up torching the housing to release the OEM insert.
