hmm i guess like i said before i want this thing to be big. so im gonna find a big city that is literally in the middle of the us. and those who want to come can come. those who dont wont. but if everybody wants it to be in there home town we wont get anything done. i like never's idea.... the only problem is most of the middle states are kinda dead. i want at least some clubs ya know.. so heres 3 ideas.. denver, st louis or davenport. st louis is the most fun then denver then davenport. all of them are somewhat central. so those are the choices i would like to hear which one yall would like. the only reason im only giving 3 is beacause i dont want to clutter this. i am hosting this meet, i dont wanna come off dickish but those are the choices. oh and anybody who would like to help me figure all this out. pm me please.

Well thats why I offered haveing a meet in some place in the west like losvegas etc and then those that felt like coming to dport could and those that dont wanna travel that far dnt have too.. thatway everyone is happy

and also would suggest one for the east coast too

Also we should start figuring out times that would work for both the smaller meets and the big one. I will talk to yoda sometime here and between the two of us can figure out details and decide on what would be good places to meet/check out etc

well were prolly not doing it in vegas. since people from the east coast would have to travel twice the mileage. the west coast people would drive like 15-20 its just not fair. thisi is a central all 6gc meet... so saddle up!. mad mods are you still down if its in davenport?.

i dont see 30 hours for the whole west coast being equal to as if someoen came from Orlando and New York City they are looking at about 17 hours or so

well its not 17 hours from ny trust me i have actually driven across the us. and getting out of ny takes at least an hour so yea j/k. haha. but again from philly where i grew up to denver is 2 days. its about a day and a half from philly to davenport and a day and a half from la to davenport. just for some reference. yes it may take a lil longer if your north or south on either coast... but dam guys how many of you would love to see some of those cars from all over that you always make comments on ? this is your perfect opurtunity!!. so come on this meet will be the meet of all meets.

how about instead of people being selfish and stubborn we work together so this can actually work.... you know.. just a thought smile.gif

Natalie - how about you organize the Vegas meet, which you seem pretty up to doing.

We need someone on the east coast to organize a meet also.. NE one interested??

We will need to find a time that is gonna work for the most people, also need to calculate driving time etc.

something like this is ONLY gonna work if we pull together and help each other.. otherwise it will be just another good Idea that never got off the ground.

I would suggest once we get someone willing to organize the east coast meet that we start 3 new topics.. one main one for the "LARGE" meet with links to two other topics one for the east and one for the west.

And make it clear in all 3 topics that if the person chooses they don't nessarly have to attend the large meet but can just go to one of the smaller ones.. then everyone is happy

So I've been thinking of some ideas to put forth into the meet while everyones here so that things don't get dull.. I came up with a few, let me know what you think....

1. We could have this car show here for our 6g's and anything else that would happen to come along with magazine coverage from Import Tuner or Super Street or something along those lines. It would be a great way to showcase our rides. Theres a tuning shop (if thats what you'd call it, right never? lol) called Automotive Innovations. They hold car shows and events all the time in the Summer. I could talk to the guys there and see if they'd be willing to sponsor a show for us. We could even have a couple of contests for the cars (best overall, cleanest, best sound, etc.) and maybe we could get some type of prize thing from Automotive Innovations. Even JC Whitney's main warehouse in only 30 minutes away, maybe they'd get involved...

2. We have a dragstrip that we could prolly run up to one day and throw down some times and have a good day running our Celicas.. I know not everyone's car is built for the track, but its an option. I also might be able to get access to a dyno....But I'm assuming that IF I could do it, there'd have to be a number of people interested in doing so...

3. If we go enough people to come, it would be really cool to get a group photo of all the celica's together and made into a poster for everyone? I think that'd be bada$$.

These are just some ideas, if you guys like them and want me to pursue them, I'd be more than happy to do so. If you also have any other ideas or additional input feel free to respond!
