sup guys just recently ive noticed a supercharger kinda sound coming from my motor, it starts off low then wines noticably at 3k-6k also i hear a tapping sound when im WOT kinda a mettal clinging or something kinda scaring me, i mean im not the easiest on the car i admit i get on er quite a bit. but ne help woudl be great, im thinkin alternator transmission or something internal frown.gif

Water pump may be the whining....metal on metal sound isn't good, Id take it to a shop and have them look at it.

ok, just went threw this , theres a good chance its your oil pump
thats what mine was
the clankign might be from the motor starving out cause the pump isnt pushing enough oil need to get it check soon cause cause there is achance of staring the motor to much and cause ing more damage , i had to replace oil pump and main and rod bearinings

Mine did that, when I got it back from the shop where the head was machined, and all new valve guides where put it, etc. It went away after a little while though.
