I lowered my car 1.5 inches in the back with eibach springs and 1.75 inches in the front with intrax springs. I want to get 17 inch rims. What size tire should i get to have at least .75 to 1 inch between the fender and the tire? Also, how do you read the sizings of the tire( like 215/40/18, what do the numbers mean)? Pls, any help is always praised upon. Thanks for reading!

the first set of numbers is the tires widness. the second set of numbers is the tires side wall height, and the last set of numbers is the rim size.
i can't offer any help on the right tires for you since i dont own any aftermarket rims. But the thinner the tire wall (like 30-35) will make the ride quality worse because it will not obsorb as much of the roads bumps. |
