A wideband O2 sensor will protect your investment. I'm also going standalone EMS with the Celica after I do it first with my Supra. 2 Microtech EMS are expensive. tongue.gif Supra has more horsepower so it gets the priority for standalone and wideband O2 sensor. biggrin.gif

i'm going one step lower than OOBE with a piggyback system i just bought a Greddy Profec E-01 to go with my Greddy E-manager with a A/B cable and the injector and timing harness. biggrin.gif not as good as OOBE's but should do really well. tongue.gif

GReddy e-Manage is an awesome thing, man. Some Supra guys use them and it yields them great results...way better than the archaic VPC/GCC combo (which I have rolleyes.gif). For like $600-$700, you have control of timing, boost, additional injectors, datalogging with the E-01, etc. You'll still be pimping. biggrin.gif

You should add to the How- To the DON'T DOs I wrote in the thread I wrote a few months ago. I haven't read your How - To yet, because I'm at work and I don't want to feel overwhelmed if I need to chime in something. tongue.gif

That’s a good idea I’ll look for your don’t do comments and in the how to I wrote it really fast so my grammar and punctuation sucks. I also might have left out a few little things.

OOBE like 1. upgrade your fuel pump its a must
2. dont boost over 12 psi off the bat
3. dont buy a bigger turbo than your car can handle. "T88" rolleyes.gif

ok you guys add some stuff and i edit the how to: to them

ok i know a good deal about all that but just a few questions
and nik why did you direct your turbo so the intake side was facing the left? wouldn't it be better if the intake side faced right, so that the intercooler piping would run directly down and then across and up to the TB? instead of down acrossed to the IC then back across through the IC then up to the TB?

the greddy e-management, piggy back right?
and the greddy profec E-01 what does that do?

EDIT: Also on TURBO specs. what is good?

Garret T3 turbo, internal wastegate, 50 trim, 0.48 a/r???
