Alright, people have been wanting me to start this NOW, so I am. Sorry to any who are not quite ready.

First off, we are going with ViS Racing.
Secondly, we need 15 people, or more, so come-on smile.gif

here's the Info that came from the original post, and them some:

ViS Racing
-They will do $400 for 15 hatches
-This Price Does NOT Include Shipping
-This is a fiberglass mold w/ CF overlay
--90% of all hoods/hatches are made this way, as fiberglass's density is slightly greater than Carbon fiber's
-The OEM glass will transfer into the new hatch
-Production will take 3-4Months after payments are received
-1 Layer of CF
-2 Layers of Clearcoat
-Will be made completely Shaved (ie. no wiper or 3rd brake light)
-shipping
--Short Distance - ~$95
--US - $135-155
--Business - $125
--UK - $375-400*
--Italy - ~$500*
--Germany - $450-500*

*These Shippings are to a local airport for pick up(decreses shipping cost)
-All Prices are in USD

The Bad:
-There is a slight chance the hood can rattle due to a added bump in the clearcoat or lay, but it can be fixed if there is one.
-The hatch will be reinforced and sturdy, but a big spoiler is not recommended. If a spoiler is installed it should either have it's force well distributed, or be reinforced. I Believe a spoiler should be fine, right on their website is a supra w/ the stock spoiler, they just do not recommend big big aluminum wings
-To have everything shaved, there's a slight chance of a dip /bump there(same as if you patched holes, only their a big co.) I think this is a statement just to cover their ass.

-Down Payment will be 1/2 the cost of the hatch.
-The address:
ViS Racing
18856 E. San Jose Ave.
City of Industry, CA 91748
-Must be Paid Via-Money Order.

Because the old post is rather old, we are starting this list over.
I will send PMs around from the old post to show this one.
let's get the ball rolling...

All carbon fiber is expensive, and hard to make. Would you rather pay hundreds or thousands?

Like Coomer said, it would be much more expensive.
the weight difference b/t fiberglass and carbonfiber is not a great one.
we could have gone with Cianci, but the people want something more affordable, and it's just as light. all places i talked to other than Cianci make their carbon fiber parts this way.

As for the coupe's, maybe...

Really don't know if I'm still in this. It's going to be AT LEAST a month before I can come up with the down payment, and another problems is that I'm starting to notice some noises from my car that aren't very pleasant. I won't be able to give a definite answer until I figure out what's wrong with my car and how much it's going to cost to get it fixed. If it's too outrageous, I will probably start saving up for a down payment on a Scion tC. So if you guys get the 15 before I'm ready, don't bother waiting on me.

$200 in like 2 weeks

i think by Monday most of the people should have seen this post.
i'm hoping we'll have these in our hands by February.

Also, if anyone near Pennsylvania wants to combine shipping.
Me and Def are trying to set something up.
he's in NJ, and i am in Pittsburgh

If you are in b/t NJ and Pittsburgh and want to combine shipping, let us know
