I usually dont ask this sorta questions cuz well, I do w/e I want, but now I'm stuck. I had started to really dislike the Invader front end, and then Pieters gorgeous Celi, its nearly pushed me over the edge of doing an SSIII front end, nearly.

So whaddya guys think? I'm tired of the same old Invader, the extravagance of it, I rather have fast than flashy. Seems like my mind is made up but its not, argh the indecisiveness.

I have the same thing in mind. Get the 96+ front with the splitters. The invader is too big for my taste.

I'd go with the '96+ front end. Less rock chips from rocks because it's urethane, if you get in a minor wreck you won't need a new bumper, you will scrape less because the front end won't be as low, it's more unique in the US, and, in my opinion, it looks better. smile.gif

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Manny got the quote from Chris C but doesn't want to coordinate the group buy. Apparently, Chris C wants to ship it to one person in the states and then have them shipped individually from here. I might be willing to do it. I just don't want to get burned on shipping. Anyway, here is the link to the thread where it is discussed:

I want to do this also but I think charlie had problems with over heating due to the smaller opening in the hood. No air made it to the rad.

I had the same problem. I had to buy a double core radiator to keep the water temps down.

oof, I hadnt thought of that. What do you mean by smaller opening in the hood, or do you mean front bumper?

super... r u running a FMIC with your 3s? If so I would suggest staying with the invader or doing a 404 with your 94 front cuz the opeing is larger than the 96+ cooler charge and more air is gonna reach the radiator.. you could try a "V" mount with yor rad and IC or a slant would work also but leaving it alone would prolly be your best bet.

I personally am not a fan of the ss-iii extensions for the front.. they taper the nose of the car too much IMO but to each there own right wink.gif that and I think the front would sit too high in comparison to the rest of your car
