What do you guys think would look good on the car graphics-wise? It's gonna be painted lamborghini candy orange in a few weeks and I would like to get some opinions. And not just vinyl graphics, I'm also considering airbrushed stuff. So whata ya think?? smile.gif

This is a little flashy but I think it's a nice design: http://www.highspeedautographics.com/new_page_38.htm. Scroll down to the silver 350Z.

Something like that in red and yellow on your candy orange paint job would be sweeeeeeet. I like graphics - IF - done right. See the If. Its a big IF. Dont F@F the "If"... please dont honda the "IF" and never ever ever ever put sticker flames on your car, because thats a "IF". But IF done right, graphics make the car finish. You'll never see a plain jane paint job in the HIN shows. Every winner always has graphics, just done right. Good luck in your search for style my friend.

One more vote for no graphics. The only possible exception is tasteful sponsor lettering in understated ghost paint....

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Believe me, IF (heheh) i do anything, it'll be professional and tasteful. Have you ever seen where skulls with the look of stretched silk over the faces airbrushed on a car. I was thinking of doing a few... and very few of these with the candy orange color. So it would be ghosted in. It would be hard to see and blend in with the color of the car. Whata ya think?

it would be a waste of money...airbrush doesnt look good unless its a older car or lowrider.....i would say try some vinyl thats simple....modern image has tons....maybe a nice little strip on the side...but even that why pay for a nice paint job and have vinyl to take away the look...

i'm planning on doing graphics on my car... eventually tongue.gif and i'm gonna do a christian theme. My idea now would have a similar graphic as the one on the Orange Supra from The Fast and the Furious but customize it to look like Jesus and have his hand be pointing forward with a nail print. I also had my friend do an awesome graphic of Jesus's head that would look great on the front of the car. I am also thinking about doing a bible verse across the back bumper. I just wanted to share that with you all.

Dont put any graphics on it. if you think your choice of color needs something more, then you probably chose the wrong color.

If I did anything, I was considering keeping the same candy orange color for the graphics also. With candy, the more you spray or airbrush in one area the darker it gets. Other than that, the colors I've looked at have been metallic blue, metallic purple and metallic silver. I'd probably do some sort of combination. I have relatively conservative tastes though. So believe me, if it's something cheesy, that looks like someone ran into the car with a paint can, I won't do anything.

In fact, I've always leaned toward leaving the car graphic-free. It's just that I'm starting paint work on it in a week, and just wanna be sure I'm not leaving out something that will make it awesome.

i say use graphics only if you have to cover up a screw up by your painter smile.gif or you need to tone the color down, thats what i was worried about. it being too bright, but i love it

Good Luck

I just e-mailed the designer and the cops from spring hill...

"Next time you show graphics..you might want to make sure it's spelled properly...

It's supposed to be..was seized from AN internet predator..not A internet predator.. I guess the cops down there don't know how to spell?

"

Because if you goto that link with the 350Z..look at the cop truck,..DUMBASS COPS!
