this guy is selling a hood.. he don't know if it's for the 6GC or the older 90-93 gen.. he told me it only has chinese writing and said 3s-gte on it... so does the 6G GT4 hood say 3s-gte on it too?.. or is it for the 90-93 Gen.. if anyone can help it would be helpful..because he is only selling the hood for $95.00.. and he live 2 hours away from me.. all he said was that is has a hood scoop on it...thanx..anybody know???

Probably a 5th Gen hood. The ST205 hoods didnt hvea a scoop.. they had a vent. Just ask him if it is flush with the hood or if i actually protrudes up to force air into the engine bay. Or ask him if it has a carbon fiber piece on the front that says celica or toyota or something like that on it (st185)

he said it has a carbon fiber tip on the hood.. this guy dont know anything about it at all... in fact he knows nothing about cars...

Definately an st185 hood... hella cheap though.. if its in good shape buy it.. it'll sell on ebay for at least 250.. at LEAST

I sold mine for $350

ST185 RC hoods have the same opening as the ST205 hoods because they utilized the W2A IC also.

the easy way to tell is see if it has the 2 square cut outs for the gen 5 popup headlights ..
