i just got one of these butane soldering guns from radio shack (they were amazed i wasnt buying a cell phone). the soldering gun costs 20$ and is worth every penny! it heats up very quickly and can even solder very think gauge wire. i had to get it to resolder some of my harness wires and i needed something that isint electric since i have on power at my garage. everyone go get one, im very impressed with mine, it works better then most electric guns ive used.

ive also saw that cold heat one on tv. it looked awesome. i use the regular old plug-up ones a lot for computers and well they suck.

That thing looks so cool! I wish I knew if it really works as well as they say it does. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if it does. -------------------- Project ST204.5 99.88946% complete... |

They sell those at Schucks here. Maybe I'll buy one and see how I like it, and return it if it doesn't work well. My friend works there and he won't mind if I return it. I could've really used one of those last night installing a shift light in a 'Teg. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

i found some reviews for the cold heat... some say crap, some say its great. So basically they cancel each other out and we are left where we are. But ill let you read and decide..

even the AD says that it only does 18-22 gauge wire....crap. with the butain, you can solder 4gauge wire with no problems.
