Just ordered some clear side repeaters (UK Gen 6) to replace the awful orange ones.

Is there a certain way to remove them, like a certain way to push? Last time I removed them on my previous car I made a complete mess.

Any tips would be appreciated.

Just ordered some late spec taillights though these looks really easy to replace.

hiya.. side repeaters are piece of piss to swap. put your nad on them and slide them forward o backward (depends on how they've been fitted) they springy piece of plastice on the unit compresses and you can pull it out. untwist the connector, twist this into the new ones and re fit. if you take more than 5 minutes to swap them you need to hand you're keys back to the dealer... you won't need adult supervision for this job.
