that pretty much says it all. Im looking for a celica somewhere close to northwestern wisconsin. probably a 94 or 95 ST hatch with pw and pl, sunroof if im lucky. can have some dings, just nothing major wrong with it. may even spend more than 3, cuz im not finding much for under 5. I dont want to get a bigger loan than i have to. if you know of any for sale, send them my way, or post a link in this thread.

Ive checked them, theyre arent any very close (ive never seen one around here at all...actually ive never seen one in my life in person actually...and i work at a gas station). and the few that are within 200 miles are all asking over 6k normally. thats why i just want like a 94 st, nothing fancy really....just a start.

It turns out the car was not for sale, they just had it parked out in the front of their yard. Sorry for the disappointment

I think there is a silver 94 GT for sale in IL $3990 ( you can talk it down). I looked on autotrader and it was only 300 miles away from my location so its probably close to you also.

Check out "mine". It's in my profile. It's a 95 GT, 129k miles, fully loaded hatchback with leather, sunroof, upgraded deck, mods are in profile. Make me an offer.
EDIT Only a few things wrong. Front bumper has minor damage at the driver's side. Could be either repaired or replaced for 400 tops...most likely less than that. There is a small dent in the passenger rear quarter panel as well. There is a small rip in the leather of the armrest and the driver's seat. Very small around 4 inches in length. Hey snaddman how is your Zex kit working for you? I'm planning on going nitrous but doesn't know how reliable it is.

It was good....I ran it twice. Only at the track and then sold it to a friend.
EDIT I just now edited my profile to what I think my car has now. The SAFC is out of the car, the Nitrous is out. Also the underglow doesn't work. I think it's cuz I didn't do a very good job of making sure the wiring was secure and there's probably some kinks in it. Just rerun the wires and they'd be working again. The guages are also not hooked up right now because when I installed the remote start I took out all extra stuff and planned on rewiring everything so it was cleaner and just haven't gotten around to it because of my other cars keeping me busy. It really runs smooth, been changed with Mobil synthetic oil ever since I've owned it at 105k miles. I had the tranny flushed last summer at 115k miles. Tires are only 6k miles on them, lots of tread left. Lately, as I keep fresh oil in there and keep running octane boosters and fuel system cleaners through it, it's been getting quicker and quicker. Takes to corners very well...will handle corners marked at 35mph very well with speeds at about 70...thing turns on a dime. When I replaced the tires, I had all the suspension hardware (bolts/bushings) replaced. One thing I need to do before I sell it is replace the brakes. I have the Napa United rotors, top quality, on there with the top quality fully ceramic pads on there. The rotors warped during the first week of having them on there so I just need to get a day to jack up my car, take them off, and bring them in to my work and get replacements for them. Also I'm getting the pads defected out and new ones on since they are supposed to be completely dustless and there is some dust on the wheels. bump. still looking for a car around the twin cities for $3-4K, not picky on much, prefer a sun roof, and a/c, pw, pl.....just about everything else doesnt matter (to a point). I just dont want to have to do any work on the car for a while, until i pay off my loan.

Give me your Zip and I will help you find some. And I'm guessing you would prefer 5spd manual? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...or=&cardist=276 That one is in de moines Iowa. Well not exactly close but just a few more miles ![]() http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_...or=&cardist=300 Davenport Iowa This post has been edited by hs2g: Oct 17, 2004 - 9:05 PM |

yeah, i saw those two. zip is 54007. actually, id take auto or manual. id have to have someone test drive it for me if its manual....ive only driven a manual like twice in my life, and it was in town, so i never had to go through the whole shift pattern. But everyone says theyre lots of fun, so id be glad to learn completely. ST or GT doesnt matter, but id prefer gt for the looks of the rear disks....but conversions can be done.

I learned how to drive a manual from car dealers. A buddy of mine and I go find a car with a manual and he taught me how to drive it. Best way to not wreck your car or your friends car.
![]() But anywaysi'll keep an eye out for you if I see any car pop up, i'll let you know. This post has been edited by hs2g: Oct 17, 2004 - 9:15 PM |
