if your talking underbody neon, mine came with a fuse and a transformer. I ran them direct from the battery, only problem I know of is if you dont have all of them connected properly, IE wired right, they wont turn on or will flicker, because they are in series and the others wont close the circuit. Other than that I dunno

Only problem with hookin it straight to your battery is draining the battery dead. If you hook it to your fuses, then it runs off your alt.

Just run a wire to the cigarette lighter positive side. Then ground it and you'll be great.

If you do it that way then they will come on everytime you start your car. If you only want them on during the night, hook it up to your dimmer switch and they will only come on when you turn your lights on. |

I have a question about the underbody kits. In my state(if not in all), it is illegal to run underbody neons while driving down the road. It's legal while sitting parked or whatever, but not while driving. I was wondering if there was a way to custom hook it up so you could have a switch to turn it on and off, like as if you were parked and went to driving, you could flip the switch and cut it off.

Here in kansas it's legal to have them on the side of the car. But if they are on the front or back then it's illegal. Totally ghey i think.

you can hook it up to a swith, this is how you do it, one wire goes to one side of the swith, that wire is from the neons, the other side runs to the battery, its just a relay switch, can be picked up for 2 bucks if that, my friends hooked it up to his crx
