I know this is off topic but seeing how I am about to go 3sgte I would like to know the quarter mile times for a stock 6th gen gt-four and a 5th gen all-trac I know 6th gen is faster but I still want to know what the 5th gen qt mile is because its cheaper.

Thanks
Matt

Nik, overreacting lil bit..hmm?

Those times are basically meaningless to you, simply because those cars are much heavier than yours. I believe DG_Performance ran a 14.7 with his 2nd Gen swap - thats basically untuned with minor mods. Gives you a rough idea.

I agree that is definately a great idea. we should have like a stock 7afe then a 7afte psi?? and show hp gain then so on for 5sfe and the for the 3sgte swaps. I really want to swap for 2nd or 3rd gen 3sgte. but if the engine will only put me mid 15's its not worth it. but if it will hit 14 anything i'll go for it. thanks for all of your help guys. also what is the max psi you would boost a 2nd gen to.

thanks

matt

15psi is the accepted safe level for a stock 2nd gen 3s.

a 3s will get you in the low 14's easily

sweet so yall think its definately worth it huh. the only problem i have with it, people say my car is too ricey which kinda pisses me off. Do yall think it would be a waste to put in this car. I love the way my car looks. And I will never sell it. maybe I can teach some people some **** when i'm in the 14's. Make them respect the 6th gen. Also I wanted to ask. You say 15psi is ok for the car, but will i be in the 14's on stock psi, or will i be in the 14's at 15psi. if I will be 14's at stock psi what is the time for 15psi.

Thanks guys

Matt
