Yeah that's a pretty good price. Keep in mind though, the bluetop isn't the best 4AGE head. I would try to find a 20v head.
Since you're putting it in your Celica, you'll need to do all of the wiring and use the 4AGE ECU. So yes, the wiring is difficult. No, the '86 4AGE rod will not fit the 7AFE. You should be able to fine a new one pretty cheap though... might as well replace all of them along with the pistons... did you even read that link i gave you NO the rods from the 4age wont fit the 7afe the 7afe is taller
the 20v is going to be harder than the 16v to mate to 7afe bottom end you should read the MR2 7age post again and dont double post! you should have added this to your previous 7age thread This post has been edited by nik: Oct 22, 2004 - 9:13 AM -------------------- yea your 3sgte is cool but ill stick to my 7agte

if you want my opinion, don't worry with the wiring. IF I do the hybrid i am going to modify the stock 7a computer. Why? #1 I have an auto, and the ECU controlls the tranny. 2, I don't want a hella restrictive AFM holding back what power I might get from it, and the 7a is Map, so we're all good there.
Last, it's just easier to have the 7a ecu modified and then just plug everything in. Do all final tuning with the Super AFC, and then be on your way. Good luck bro. With the advice you've been getting, you're going to need it bad. |
