Yeah so my brother got pulled over today by his college for his window tint. It was a state highway patrol and he said that he was just sitting there all day handing out tint tickets. Anyways he wants to remove it now and he called a local shop and they wanted to charge $100.00. Does anyone know of an easier way?

It shouldn't take more than a razor blade. When I bought my car, the rear 3 windows had a tint that bubbled, and I removed it with a razor blade and it looks like there was never any tint. smile.gif

a buddy of mine used to install tint. He had to remove the old tint sometimes. The best way to do it is get straight ammonia(hardware store should have it) put it in a spray bottle, put plastic bags over the window(MAKE SURE IT IS A WARM DAY, It has to bake in the sun) leave it on there for about half an hour to an hour. The ammonia dissolves the glue holding the tint on.

I had to remove mine before cause of a stupid ass cop. I used a razor blade and lighter fluid.
