There are many types of breathable fabrics available. The big difference in price between the cheap covers (and tarps) and the good covers is due to the breathable fabrics. Never ever cover a car with a non-breathable cover. Condensation build-up under the cover can do lots of damage.

I have the max cover from empire its a 3 layer cover made from Tyvek developed by DuPont.

No reason to revive this topic...but wow, a $25 cover is pretty great.

If it's outdoors make sure the fabric is breathable to let out moisture

x2.. you'd be surprised how quickly rust can form. a friend of mine had his 93 civic hatch covered outdoors for a winter only to find rust forming everywhere in his engine bay.

+1 on empirecovers, I know my cover is breathable, because I usually have condisation on my car in the morning, now I don't wink.gif
