DoGGy, just a heads up before someone else says it...but you know the tubes are Supposed(emphasis on this word) be the same length, right?

as long as you find witha little little little restriction on the spool(more flow at cetain pts) then awesome smile.gif

actuatly im pretty sure cylenders 1 and 4 are supposed to be the same length. and so are 2 and 3 since they fire differently. so you have cylender 1 and 4 exaust gases going out at one time and then 2 and 3 at another.

someone correct me if i am wrong.

so he does have those pipes right?

but you should just take a grinder and smooth the welds out a lil if you can, i'm not sure if that would weaken it........

hmmm if that holds up then romas might be getting 7afe business lol

ah, never knew that...makes sense i guess, but there's still like a time say they fire .5 seconds b/t eachother(1+4 and 2+3)
while 1+4 take .2 seconds to flow out, 2+3 take .1 to flow out
so you're still getting a bit of a absense of flow in there, right?

wow those welds are not pretty at all..you gotta tack weld the pipe first to make sure its good..then keep the hand super steady.....my alot of my family welds/metal works....soo i know a few things...might want to grind them down and then heat wrap the thing or chrome it for a sweet look....

how much would something like that go for?

firs of all, about the pipe lenght on GOOD actually VERY GOOD profesional made header they will be equal, but it still wount do as much.. cuz cilinders fire not at same time, so count and you will see.. About myne, i didnt care about pipe lenght, cuz almost ALL headers that are sold at ebay and etc are NOT equal pipe lenght... Cuz it is very difficult to make one like this.. About weld - i dont care at all, cuz they wount be visible at all, the first thing i care that it would hold the heat and it would be strong to take the weight of the turbo. I made this one for MY car not for sale sdo i just dont care smile.gif If i grind them it will weaken it by ALOT, so no thanks smile.gif

make the length w/e...it doesn't matter, equilength is just what's perferred...
and i believe a 2" diameter? i could be wrong, but a search on google will tell.

the equal length matters more on a NA engine than one with FI. for someone who is just learning, that is a pretty good job. a lot better than i could do
