Ok, I've decided to go with the gt4 front end like tuffy has, on the front page. So I need the hood and the bumper cover. My question is do I really need all the foam and brackets and stuff listed under the GT4 parts list sticky, or will it just fit up with my existing stuff.

I know tuffy has the c-one front end, but its for a gt4. I've also read the sticky and I'd still like to know what is different about the gt4 bumber and the american version bumper we have. Are the brackets really different, and the foam different to were I need to spend $100 for them?

Actually, things you don't really need are the brackets to hold the front grill insert on, You can get away with some bolts, washers and nuts (*size i am not 100% for sure, But i'll look and let you know*). And the Fogs you can get for 20 bucks from wal-mart (*5 inch, black housing looks identical to the gt-4 Fogs for a lot less*, You'll have to drill holes in the grill insert to mount them though*). The only piece that i am going to order the mount bracket for is the center grill, I accidently left that out(*is on order now, Just in case*), But you if you want to save 15 bucks, Use a strong glue and it'll stay in fine, Or atleast mine has for the past 3 months in all weather conditions.

sure...you can get away with it like that...but then its a 15ft car insted of a 1ft car.. wink.gif and BTW..any aftermarket fogs DO NOT look like the factorys..i have the factory fogs..and have seen others w/ aftermarkets..sure in pixs theyres not much diff...but when you see that stuff in person, up close, theres no comparison..but, then again, if i had to do it all over again, i wouldnt get the factory fogs, theyre WAY to expensive, and the hassle of getting the correct parts to mount them is just that, a HASSLE..either get the cheapo autozone ones, or just get the non fog bezels.. smile.gif

The fogs i have are about the closest thing you can get to the actual gt-4 fogs, from a looks perspective. And yea sure some one who has the actual gt-4 fogs can tell a difference, But if you mount them right the only thing your missing is about half a inch of a mount bracket. smile.gif Just letting the guy know you can cut corners if you want, or if your like me and don't have the cash to throw down all at once and want to buy some of the pieces later you can as well.

Thanks, I think what I'm gonna end up doing is getting the c-one front from CBB and then getting the vis c-one replica CF hood.
