i go alot and as long as you dont do anything that draws attention you should be fine, and if your gonna do it i recommend you do it through my city compared to cali, no customs here .

oh oh.. i got one..
dont drink the water. when walking infront of customs.. dont limp or walk crooked.. (cavity search = bad) ok on the serious note.. can you get a rhd gt4 so you dont have to convert the car? and how hard is it to (whispers*) change the vin with an other celica? |

figure i get a celica around $5500 cost me another $300-400 for the car broker to get the car on a ship from japan to mexico shipping on a roll on roll off boat will cost around $600 then itll cost me like $300 to fly down there and another $150 to drive back. so maybe around $6500-$7000 |

my city: Laredo, Tx.
mexican city: Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Highway out of here: I-35 there is a borderpatrol checkpoint about 30 miles away going towards San Antonio but all they check for is YOUR paperwork, make sure your a us citizen. |

Coustoe just a warning... if you get cheap shipping your car will most likely be COMPLETELY STRIPPED... even with expensive shipping containers they usually get stuff stolen, I have friends who import to Australia and there is always something missing like wheels, BOV, shifter, momo wheels etc. Most of the ****s who work on the docks will tear through that stuff Edit:

hmmm, I'm going with a roll on roll off ship, just drive the car on and drive it off the boat. Ya im getting shipping insurance too, so if anyone decides to rip stuff off hopefully it wont be bad enough for me to not drive the car to the US.
