got the coilovers on!, but had aproblem with the shocks Options

I got my coilovers and went to put them on myself but I bought rounded out the bolts on the bottom of the shock. So I went to shops to see about them putting them on and all of them wanted around $300. I'm sorry but that price makes me feel like I'm gonna be bending over and taking it like a man but I didn't want to.
I ran into a frien from church and he lent me a small portable air compressor ( holds over 150 psi.) and a air ratchet. That didn't work even with the bolt soaked in wd40! I was about ticked! I asked another guy from church who owns a Texaco oil & lube shop and he said I could bring it there and he'll help put them on for FREE! Can't beat that! Well, we put it on the lift and get the shocks off and found a new problem. The shocks were pretty much blown. One was completly shot and the others had hardly any gas left. He went and ordered some new shocks for me and the place only brought the 2 front. Let's just forget the back alright! After another hour and a half of waiting we finally got the rear. New problem. The bearings in the two front strut mounts were broke. We managed to put them back together but I need new ones. I just ordered them and will have them this friday or saturday. Then I have an appointment this coming monday to get the wheels aligned.

I got picks of the car on the lift and the coilover on so whenever I get the film developed you guys can see.

Do you want to know the reason for having to get new shocks and strut mounts? The guy I bought the celica from had heated the springs to lower the car and so whenever the car hit a bump hard it broke one of the shocks and gas leaked out and the other shocks had to much weight breaking them and the mounts! Let this be a lesson to everyone! NEVER HEAT OR CUT SPRINGS! IT WILL TEAR JUNK UP!

Another reason to start going to church.. hummm... eh I already have to many hook ups... but that sucks man.. good thing your getting them replaced. Also you should have know better to order new shocks with the coilovers.. bad idea to use old ones.

And yes I should have ordered new shocks but didn't want to spend the money yet. Looks like I didn't get that option though...

And there are better reasons to go to church on Sunday than for hook-ups. (but it is nice going to church with a bunch of car fanatics!)
