I meant that if the hood was the same color as the car... red car-red hood. In your case it would be PERFECT black car-black hood. I wonder how would it look on a white convertible with the black top...  Can the carbon fiber hood be painted??

Well if you paint the carbon fiber, it kind of negates the weight reduction you get my using carbon fiber. |

not too much, but yea...it isn't a common thing to do, spend all the $ for a carbon fiber one...might has well gone straight fiberglass
the hood can also be clear-coat painted though. this gives it the color of the car from a distance, but up close you can still see the black. as for a white convert. well, i'll have it on mine, not a convert but i have a sunroof

i'm not real crazy on the hood only because that vent is a little too big for my taste... if it was smaller... i'd love it!
but the celica is sweet! -------------------- ~Daniel~ No Longer Celica Owner.. moved on to a 03 WRX-EJ207

That's awesome...when I first looked at it I was thinking that the Celica was probably from overseas somewhere because until recently we didn't have this C-One replica stuff here.

Well to tell you the truth Im not concerned with the weight reduction  and by the way, how much more weight would painting it add?? Not much. Let's be realistic.. we all do it for the looks unless you are racing. Dont get me wrong.. I like the hood. But if I was going to buy I would paint it the same color as my car... WHITE

that is purdy, I think they look good on red and blue but it would look crappy on my black gt, but Carbon Fiber gets chics... ooo yeh.
