Hey Guys,
This is my first post ever. I just bought a 96 red 25th year edition celica for around 4,300 bucks. 96k miles. Runs great. Can't wait to start working on this baby. I am thinking of buying a cai for my first mod. What do you guys think? I had a cai in my previous car and I loved the sound and the extra punch it gave. Any other simple to do mods I should consider in my newly acquired celi? |

i personally think that any engine upgrades to an st are a waste of money. if i were you, i would spend money on stuff like new wheels, a nice sound system, or an engine swap. |

exhaust is good. also an ASP underdrive pulley. you will get some nice gains with that. just gives it a little more zip. -------------------- 1994 Lexus ES300

How does the pulley affect your sound system and lights?

CAI is a good way to start. I have a 97st with just a K&N filter. I have a piece of PVC pipe that connects it to the rubber tubing with a hole drilled into it for the O2 sensor. It still gave me a little gain though. I spend only about $40 on the filter. Dr CAI in the parts database is what I'm getting soon to replace my setup.
