Dude, just take it easy.

Sell both cars. Split the money and save yourself some grief. With the money (if you have any left) buy yourself another car and begin your project.

Even when the car is under your name she is legally entitled to 1/2 of everything.

Think about this.. once this is over... well is over! wink.gif

She can ask for everything she wants but just because she asks for it that does not mean she will get it. redface.gif

Try to make the divorce as fast as posible... then move on. wink.gif

my thoughts too...

but man, the best sounding plan i heard was sell it cheap to someone since its in your name, then buy it back....

but whatever happens hope it works out for you...

Yea I say sell it to some one and buy it back. When you get divorced the woman can take any where from 0 to half of everything no matter who's name its in.

if its register under your name should all the property be yours already??.. and she should have nothing to do with it unless her name is in it too... dont know if im right but that's what i've been seeing so far... well sell it to a friend and buy it back...or insurance fraud it and keep the parts for another 6gc...well good luck man..

read what he said he has to sell at least 3500$ and she gets half.....but i guess you can lose 1250$ to the wife then pay the member who bought your car back the 1250$>?

well, if you wernt in the middle of the divorce then you would be able to just sell the car, to say your sister, still continue to drive the car but have it registered in your sisters name. But, I guess you cant do that because your in the middle of the divorce, otherwise that would be all fine and dandy. Ask your attorney though if that would be legal before shooting yourself in the foot.
