so I had my first accident today with the new paint. it wasn't really an accident so much as me backing into a pole. it was dark out, a girl was yapping in my ear, and the parking spot I was backing out of didn't exist 2 weeks ago so I wasn't familiar with the surroundings. regardless this really sucks and I am pissed at myself for letting it happen. there is a nice 1/2 inch deep crease in my rear bumper which probably needs to be replaced and the trunk lid for sure. I'll get some pictures tomorrow...

on another note, anyone interested in a c/f trunk lid for coupes ???

If it makes you feel any better, some a**hole bumped into my car in a parking lot last month and drove away, left some gashes in the paint on the rear bumper frown.gif

I feel your pain frown.gif frown.gif

I asked Chrisc if the hatchback CF insert of this wing would fit the coupes, he said he didnt kno and doesnt have any materials to mock something up.

I'd def. be interested in a CF insert though.

thanks for the replies guys. I'm pretty over the whole thing, although I still feel like an idiot about it. as for the c/f trunk lid, its going down and I am 100% in, consynx is putting it together once the hatch goes through.

and super, I think we can get a trd center done in c/f if we settle for overlaying. there are lots of people who do it, really the only hard part is getting the weave to line up.
