I am getting a boost controller.
now, can someone tell me what is the boost level for a stock st205? i did a dyno on mine... it showed 13psi. is that right?

now if i get a boost controller how much can i boost? what is the MAXimum boost and wont damage my ST205? How much are u boosting for ur GT4? I had done manifold and full exhaust. 1.5" manifold pipe, 2.5" downpipe and 3" full exhaust.

Help. getting the boost controller in days.... HOW much should i boost it?

Stock boost is 12 but because you have increased exhaust your seeing 13psi. Now I hope that you have an aftermarket gauge before you get this boost controller because if you rely on the factory gauge, ur a dumbass.

I would recommend checking on the GT4oc.com boards about the 3rd Gen since it was never here in the states so we dont really have much experience. A few of the guys from across the pond can help though.

if you get a boostcontroller, you can read out what your boost is, so why use a boost gauge if you are getting a boostcontroller?

i use the AVC-R, self learning mode is even easy to use, but its probably best to get it professionally tuned, especially if you use a different ECU.

Stock i think the ST205, has like 0.65 bar?
I used to run mine on 1.25 bar, which was its total limit.

If I were you, I would not boost it more than 1.0 bar, peaking to 1.15 max.

yes, i am getting a boost gauge. it will be installed at the same time as the greddy-E01. i was talking to some people working in toyota. they recon i would boost it just before the fuel cut. .... any idea when does the fuel cut kick in? they think i might be able to boost at 16 - 18 psi, what do u guys think?

i think boost controller could be my last upgrade....

Stock boost on a ST205 is just under 14psi. You have fuel maps for 17.5 psi, and the stock engine should be ok until around there (unless you drive like an utter idiot).

Beyond that, and you're into the land of fuel cut.

it could handle more but it is hard to say what is safe from one person to the next.

mr E is right.
if you get an greedy prof. b spec. 2 you can see boost digitally.
stock boots is arround .9 bar fuel cut is arroud 1.25 bar. i am running about 1.15 bar. if you want to be safer remap your ecu for higher boost.
