i seem to have lost my passenger-side rubber headlight housing. i don't know the correct term for it, which might explain why i'm having such trouble finding the part. anyway, its the weatherstriping around the headlight is what im missing. i was wondering if someone knew where to get a set.

try www.toyota-parts-dealer.com
Make sure you toggle "Collision" and not "mechanical". Then follow the appropriate links to what you're looking for. Just did a search on them and they're selling for $16.23 each. Seems a lot for just that rubber piece. |

i lost mine as well, i didn't think it served much purpose so i never replaced them.
So is it worth spending money or it doesn't matter? |

Mine tend to "loosen" every couple days. I take a finger around it to pop it all the way back in, but over the next couple days, they come out a little. Any way around that happening?

To completely fix it you're going to have to reattach them to the clips that are holding them...or that are supposed to hold them. I have to keep pushing them in also. Haven't gotten around to taking out my bumper yet. When I put my OEM fogs in I'll do it. lol Either that or use a glue/adhesive of some sort! But it'll only work for so long. |

I don't know about all cars, but on most of them (I hope you know) the final screw that mounts the headlight is inside the fender.. Well, the low beams anyways..
