Just curious.... Been looking to get some new music..... I've been listening to alot of Indie lately..... Really liking Franz Ferdnand, Keane, and the Killers too....... anybody have any suggestions..... I'm open to anything.....

It's not quite indie, but...

Flogging Molly's new album is pretty good. Authority Zero is a fav of mine.

The new Roots if you like hip hop. Zion I's new album has some good reggae-ish hip hop.

RJD2 is some very good djing.

I'll have to download some of the stuff you mentioned.

Those bands aren't really indie by the way except for Keane..but who cares.
I listen to the new Breaking Benjamin, Strata, Green Day, and Rise Against CD's. That should give you an idea of what kind of music I listen to.

I really like Authority Zero as well, mr_dude. And lately I've been listening to a lot of (hed) p.e., Deftones, Sublime, and Snot. I also listen to a lot of rap too though. wink.gif

Nah.... I wasnt say they were.... I was saying that I've been listening to them with all the indie tongue.gif. Some good Indie bands..... Death Cab for Cutie, Blonde Redhead, say hi to your mom, and The Weakerthans..... all pretty good stuff

My list: Hum, Blood Brothers, Pavement, Rilo Kiley, Julie Doiron, Blackalicious, Letter to Juliet, The Lyndsay Diaries (favorite), Norah Jones, Evergreen Terrace, Love is Red, Kittie, Tori Amos, Kasey Chambers.

I have heard of them actually.... I think I bought some thai food from the guitarist and I used to see him at the grocery store I work at..... never listened to their stuff though.... any good?

damm they are one talented band if you like that type of music....my friend actualy lived in prescott and move back here not to long ago but his dad is buying a huge house in prescott some time this year or maybe next...but yeah they are a good band...their music is hard to come by around here..but forsure get some tones from them
