I'm gonna do some cheap mods for now until the holidays are over and I get some cash for myself.

I thought about getting some of that thermal paint for my headers and either polish the exhaust header shield and paint the valve cover (or vice-versa)

I'm putting strobe lights in place of my projectors accent lights

I want to alter the tail-lights but for now mabey just blackouts.

Mabey paint a few things in the engine bay (nothing extreme!) like fuse boxes...

Change the colour on the clock

change the guage cluster lights and turn signals

I'm removing my tint (not really a mod) mainly because the back is bubbling

I work with fiberglass so I thought about altering my invader front bumper (actually I know I will, just need the time to do it) and making a fiberglass lip spoiler for the rear.

I work in a custom hot rod interior shop so once I got the money too, I'm altering the interior a good chunk, new door pannels, center consol, seats, dash.

I got so many mods in my head that it's driving me nuts that I don't have the cash!
But all in due time...

So, anyone else know of some cheap mods I might like?

What are some things you've done?

my smallest mod is putting blue leds on the top back of the door that are attached to my alarm. there located where most cars have the little door lock stick.

edit: it costed just about $10 mostly about $5 for the leds shipped, and i got connectores from radioshack that where like $2 each so i could easaly take off the door interiour panel, it was maybe a 30 min job.

i made the celi about 200lbs lighter... but thats cause my ex isn't in it anymore..lol.... you could take the crapet out and put truck bedliner inplace of it... you could also pull out the headliner and paint it black like i did.. .. you can relocate your sound system...into the glove box...

Painting brake calipers is highly recommended. If you are careful, you can do a great job with them still on the car and it always turns heads. Nearly free as well!

Another thing you might consider is a set of stainless braided brake lines. They aren't very hard to install, especially if you are due to bleed your brakes anyhow. They dont flex as much as stock brake lines so they firm up the pedal a bit. Makes your brake pedal react more like that of a sports car. I think it's a great mod for the money. I know you can get them at burien toyota.
