Today I finally found a ST184 that has the rear disc brakes still intact.
The rotors are rusted very badly(Anyone know if very rusted rotors can be turned and then used?), but the rest looks good. I asked the guys up front how much they wanted for both sides and they said $100. Is that too much to pay? Also, can very rusted rotors be turned and then used? If not, then I'd have to get new rotors. I'd be replacing pads at all four corners as well, so the costs would add up. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I think I may just do this then. Shucks even has the yellow caliper paint on clearance at one of their locations here.
Edit: Playr posted before I finished my reply. Thanks for the info on turning rotors. This post has been edited by Coomer: Nov 15, 2004 - 3:15 PM -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

I would pay $100. I got mine for $55. I painted the pad retainers saturday(high temp flat black), and am painting the calipers next saturday (ceramic red) I also ordered a set of front and back cross drilled and slotted rotors with AXXIS Metal master pads. =$305 shipped from Cali with a zinc plaiting. I can't wait to get them installed. (get them installed because I don't trust myself with brake work.)
