Looks good...is it really smooth? If so, I'd paint it with a black base coat and then clear coat it. smile.gif

Its as smooth as its going to get. I did a few coats of flat black , then 2 of gloss black.. I didnt put the clear on yet, because every time i get it looking, to what it think is perfect I would finish paint it. Then mount it then find somthing that just dosnt look right. so i would have to re-do it all over.. Im gunna wait till tomorrow, so i can get a nice reflection on it, to tell.

I like the idea of the plate being mounted on bottom. You should do that.

Also, I noticed on some hot rods in the shop have them connected to some type of actuator, so it can fold up and be hidden. Looks good!

Haha, you got me, thats exactly what i was looking to do. I just need to find the actuator cheap enough, I have some motors left over from my bmw seat, i think i could mount of those and somehow make it work. its got me thinking again, as of right now, i just screwed it into the lower bumper, cause i need my car for classes.

For the lights, there are hot rod shops that sell license mounting bolts that have lights in them.....yes a light in the bolt. I know, I personally have them on my motorcycle, you can always find lights built into license plate frames from hot rod shops also.
