IMO, unless you plan on autoX or actually fully utilizing them... just get some new KYBs or something and save the money for something more useful. Aside from that, I would imagine they're excellent shocks. Some of the best inserts made and available for our Celicas. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"

The stiffness is not because of the shocks... but the high spring rates of coilover type springs. It'll still be pretty hard with Koni Yellows I'm afraid. Also, decreasing stroke value by adjusting the height of the car (lowering a car) will reduce the life of a typical shock unless the shocks are designed for it. Even the Koni Yellows are designed to be more or less adjustable drop-ins and do not neccesarily increase shock life in lowered cars. The correct way to go about it would be a short stroke conversion, which I may be investigating in the very near future... ;] -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... I'm an artist!"

QUOTE(trdevelopment @ Dec 13, 2004 - 6:43 AM) how much $ are we talking about here kaz lol? I have to do some camparisons first. ;] Short stroke conversions will require cutting and welding of the strut casing... so it might be a bit of $$ but still probably cheaper than Koni Yellows... -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
