This is my sister's civic I've talked about a couple times in some posts. I just recently heard that her car got stolen. frown.gif I AM SO SAD FOR HER I cant even imagine what she's going through right now. Even tho I dont like civics very much, I liked this one. Guess you can see why...

But OMG! frown.gif

Hey anyone who lives in Washington, watch your backs when you go to Auburn. thats where my sister's civic was stolen. A bad, bad, BAD area to leave your nice Celicas. (Dont take it offensively if you live in Auburn, Im just really sad and mad about my sister's car being stolen down there-- I've heard its a bad area to hav a carlike that in)

But I'll leave more details later... This is sooooo sad! frown.gif

wow, that's a really clean civic except for the spoiler...
i like it

that's terrible
i hope it either gets found untouched
or it's totaled, because if someone used it as a bathroom, or just gutted it...it's prob best to just start over.

sorry to hear that, yeah sept for the wing thats not a bad little car, If I see it I'll report it, but I doubt that it will show up, in one peace, I can only hope it was some punk kid wanting a joy ride, that will just leave it somewhere for the cops to find later (in one peace)

I worry about my sis's civic all the time parked at her work (high crime area), since she likes it so much, and I have done a lot of the work on it.

Sorry to hear!! its such a terrible thing to happen, esp to someone who obviously loves their car and has put so much time into it, no matter what kind of car it is.

Yeah, this area is prone to car theft. My roommates Wheels were stolen last spring, and then after he got new ones, two months later and his Integra was stolen. They found it in Yakima stripped down to the frame. Sorry to say, but i bet thats what will happen with your sis's civic. Watch on ebay for her parts!

thats a nice civic, but I am sorry to say that you will never see it again. most car thieves now dont take the car and drive it they steal it and scrap it at a junk yard and sell the parts to buy thier meth and crank. if I where your sister I would call around to the local junk yards or scrap yards. you might beable to find the car and identify it by the VIN.

I'm really sorry,

-Brandon

well first off its not cuz she was in auburn - it happens anywhere. Also no one really goes after stealing our celicas cuz theres not much of a scene. Not much of a market for whats on our cars. If they were to want our cars around this area here in Seattle they would go for stereo system.

They will find her car im sure a bit jacked up and she will get it back

my friends integra was takeing from W lake sammamish parkway and they found it in renton 2 blocks away from where race meet up spot is. her car was jacked up but its fine. and then someone tried to steal it down in seattle..they want acuras and civics not celicas

Don't be a jerk man...that's ridiculous. rolleyes.gif

Sabrina, that's really too bad...I sometimes hear through friends about cars getting stolen and parts sold and stuff here in Yakima, so if I hear anything I'll let you know. There are tons of places in Yakima and around Yakima where stolen Hondas are parted out. frown.gif Just recently my friend's '92 Integra was found 15 minutes out of town stripped down to the frame. But best of luck to your sister...hopefully they can find it before it's too late.

Here's what i know so far bout the situation...

Her car is fully covered on in insurence... as far as the cops go, her car is now on a state-wide search. I think anyways, i talked to my dad about it a minute ago, cant really recall, but its something like that. Yeah... frown.gif

What also really sux for my sister is that she had a whole buncha crap in her car at the time. She had her school stuff like her books and homework (wont this be a great excuse for the teacher... "My homework was in my car and my car was stolen, so thats why I cant turn it in, Teacher." rolleyes.gif) she had her cds in her car, which she has like hundreds of them, so those are all gone. A few of them were mine too! mad.gif But anyways.... This is the stupid part, she had her wallet in her car. Which had her credit cards, her money, her liscenes.... Whata dumbass thing to do and leave your wallet in your car during work. Be smart, take your most valuable things with you into work(wallet/purse/ect.), and lock it up in the back at work, its not very hard to do.... But guess its too late for her now

Also, she lost two 12 inch subwoofers, and one kick ass sound system to go with it...... whata waste.... frown.gif Sad, very sad.....

Yeah.. I would not be surprised to hear that its all trashed up out in some far away place...

But the weird thing is... She was selling it. So this situation either be like a blessing cuz now its gone and she can use the insurence moeny to get another car, or (if this was me in this situation) be like the worst thing in the world cuz so much time and effort was put into this car and now its suddeny gone... thatd suck....

welp, details will probably be on their way soon
*Sabrina

if they were gonna chop it up its probably in a chop shop in tacoma or something. They wouldnt be driving it around - they probably had their joy ride from auburn to tacoma/puyallup
