Don't know if this will apply to installing the glass on a celi. But when I'm at the Build Center here at GM, the door glass is installed thru the opening between the outer door and the inner sheet metal. You wouldn't take any of the sheet metal you're displaying off. You tilt the front of the glass into that "space/crack", and guide it into place.
You have to tweek and manuver the glass into the glass run channel (that's what that obj. is on the right), once it's aligned in the run channel, move the rear edge into place also, then slide it into place. I'll post a pic, I had to do a summary of when my glass was installed into the Cadillac Escalade. |

Roll the window about half way down and you can see the bolts that hold the window in place(one of the bolts will be seen through that round hole beside the bright yellow screw holder in your picture), take those out and remove the old window frame and put your new window down into it. Just make sure you have both sides of the window in the tracks that keep it lined up.

Yeah.... now imagine your window regulator was broken and the window was stuck halfway between seeing the bolts in the middle and seeing them at the bottom so you had to losen as much as you could one one and then cut the old assembly out... Note to everyone, NEVER let your window get stuck 3/4 down
