they're not generally for daily driving

in broad terms is a separate intake for each cylinder. really helps high-revers with a lot less restriction.
look up 4A-GE and ITBs
and a post will pop up about them smile.gif

itb's will help you engine "breath deeper" (ie the car will breath more like a v8) and respond better. you will also see much larger gains in simpler bolt on, such as exaust.

theres a quick pic in my signature.

--------------------
Former: 96 GT 5 speed (i/p/e) Fate- rear ended by mack truck
00 GTS 6 speed (i/ Bored TB 63mm - 68.5mm w/ butterfly/ Ported IM/ IMG/ PFC/ Commander/ datalogit/ Ported & heat wrapped Header/ Decat/ UEGO/) 193FWHP 14.2(1/4mi) @98mph, 2.12 60ft (just intake, unbolted Exhaust, and gutted) Fate- side swipped by 18 wheeler at 75mph.

Next: maybe an elise
